The role model function of the government is everywhere. The Climate Protection Act stipulates that the public sector should set a good example in reducing CO2 emissions. The federal administration should be organized in a climate-neutral manner by 2030. The Energy Efficiency Act states that the public sector has a role model role when it comes to saving energy. The Building Energy Act, known since last year as “Habeck’s heating hammer”, also stipulates that the public sector should set an example for others when renovating their buildings.
