The question of whether electric cars have to look like they landed on Mars has largely been answered. The customer only appreciates design experiments to a certain extent. Statements are made through good lines, not rude ones. It doesn’t have to be a disadvantage that the Q6 from Audi looks like an Audi. The people of Ingolstadt have allowed themselves, to put it benevolently, to sleep for a long time, but the Lords of the Rings are slowly waking up from their agony and returning to life. A formal language leads there that appears calmly precise. This pleases all those who don’t want to follow BMW’s sometimes seemingly desperate structural outbursts or the disorientated Mercedes-Benz electric family. There will also be people who find the Audi boring, taste is just a matter of taste.
