Looks like a Porsche 911, but is a Porsche 912.
The 911. He is the German car classic par excellence next to the beetle, the sports car has been on the market for 61 years, and probably anyone who is more interested in cars than others would have one. “Driving in its most beautiful form” Porsche campaigned in the 1960s, and this unmistakable form that the 911 preserves with every new edition is probably the secret of success. A 911, whether from 1964 or 2025, is unmistakable, and he is loved for that. And of course also for the fact that he drives well and pretty quickly. The 130 hp from back then has become basic version 394 today, technically there are worlds between the two models, but we want to stay in the early days of the automotive icon. 60 years ago, in April 1965, Zuffenhausen provided the six-cylinder model with these 130 hp from just two liters of displacement with 90 hp and 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine from VW. It was planned from the start, actually the four-cylinder variant should be called 902 and the six-cylinder 901, but the prevented Peugeot, which is a story of its own. So it will be a 912. It is almost forgotten today, everyone really knows the 911, with the 912 hardly anyone can do anything.
